“God used ETBC in our lives in ways that can never be adequately expressed, which paved the way and opened numerous doors for us to carry the message of Jesus Christ. As we reflect with hearts of gratitude, it’s incredible that God did more than we could ever think or dream. There is no greater blessing than to serve the college that invested so much in us. Billy and Winky Foote Hall honors God, and it is our prayer that all the students who pass through its doors will go on to live for the cause of Christ and be a light in this dark world for Him.”

“The paths our lives take, we feel, are greatly influenced by the contacts we make and the characters with whom we surround ourselves during the ages of 18–22. We both attended ETBU during those years and we know being a part of that community of instructors, leaders, and friends helped solidify our worldview through Jesus Christ. Because people donated to ETBU back then, we benefited through scholarships, work study, Christian education, and a beautiful campus. Years later, two of our children received the same benefits as graduates of ETBU. We give back through scholarships and campus builds in hopes that our gifts will play a small part in impacting the lives of other young adults who choose ETBU.”

“Beginning life on my own at ETBU, apart from the influence of parents and home, helped me to establish a right and true foundation that has been a bedrock for me. No matter how many times I have left the safety of the harbor in my life, that foundation never wavered. Without that right start, I believe life would have been much more of a challenge. Were it not for that time of growth and challenge at ETBU, I don’t believe I would be where I am today. There have been missteps, heartbreaks, and dark times. But the foundation of faith built up during my time on the Hill was the rock in the storm that always helped me see the hand of God.”
